The morning classes are for people whose evenings are already spoken for: work, kids, commutes, shifts. Come in at 6, train hard with the same small crew most mornings, and start your day already having done the hardest thing on your list.
What a morning looks like
- On time, every time. Class starts on the minute and ends on the minute, so you can plan your morning around it.
- Technique first, then positional rounds, then a few rounds of sparring for anyone who can stay.
- The same coaches and the same faces. The morning crew is small, and it notices when you're missing.
Your first morning
Come 10 minutes early so the coach can meet you. Wear comfortable workout clothes with no zippers or buttons; we have loaner gis. Bring water. Your first class is free, and on your first day you won't spar: you'll learn the basics with a partner.

Questions
I've never done jiu-jitsu. Can I start at 6 AM?
Yes. Every class welcomes beginners, and the coach will give you a partner and the fundamentals version of the day's technique.
Do I need to be in shape?
No. You train to get in shape, and the coaches scale the work to you.
What should I bring?
Workout clothes without zippers or buttons, and water. We have loaner gis for your first classes.
I'm not a morning person. Will I keep it up?
Training at the same time every day is what builds the habit, and a morning crew that expects you helps more than an alarm.
Is the first class free?
Yes. Book a morning on this page.
